White Star is an Afghan young generation managed Company based in Kabul Afghanistan. We put a strong focus on training our own staff as much as possible and carry out our contracts with no involvement of third party sub companies. All designs, texts, photography, etc are made within White Star’s office. We have a large media network consisting of radio, TV and newspaper throughout Afghanistan. White Star is the only media COMPANY in Afghanistan that can cover the entire country, including regions of the South and the East of the country with the highest security risks. WSC provides versatile, resonant, and culturally relevant media products, offering expedient and complete access throughout Afghanistan. Rapid production, a streamlined dissemination system in place, and an intimate connection to the Afghan environment allow WSC to furnish the most effective guidance available for product development and distribution. WSC is also focused on the betterment of Afghanistan, as a large portion of the Company profits are reinvested into the Afghan economy with the goal of creating a higher capacity for employment and expanded job opportunities for Afghan citizens. Also: The White Star COMPANY (WSC) faces financial problems to provide state of the art facilities in the field of film to its staff which include producer, film director, assistant film director, cameraman, assistant cameraman, light-man, sound-man, authors, editors, technician, script writers, translators, musician, researchers, and actors. WSC seeks financial support from potential donors to meet the basic needs of its staff. This financial support will play an integral role in enhancing the performance of WSC staff in the field of film production.
